The transformative redesigned and complete renovation of this 1 million square foot retail mall included the repositioning and enhancements of the property anchored by Lord and Taylor, Macy’s, JCPenney, and Sears. A new main entrance was designed, as well as the addition of a new Cheesecake Factory and brilliantly light environmental signage. Included in this renovation is the design of a new food court with a skylights, new restrooms, a children’s play area and management office within the existing mall. To further create an exceptional shopping experience new flooring, railings, ceilings, and the replacement of all the lighting fixtures to increase light levels and energy efficiencies. New central plant equipment and new escalators were added, as well as new passenger and freight elevators. The renovations allowed for a new tenant mix work to better serve the needs of the customers, allowing for a better financial return. This construction cost for the renovation was $29,000,000.
