The new 2-story, 42,442 square foot $9,400,00 medical office building and sports performance facility will set a new standard for orthopedic treatment and elite athletic training and assessment.
The clinic portion of the project will treat a spectrum of orthopedic conditions and diseases including musculoskeletal injuries, fractures and complex total joint reconstructions. The facility additionally includes Magnetic Resonance Imaging, X-ray, Physical Therapy Gym with Hydrotherapy Pool, Exam Rooms, and Physician’s Offices. After arthroscopic procedures the physicians work in conjunction a with Hattiesburg Clinic Physical Therapy to enhance outpatient treatment and early rehabilitation.
Through the Sports Performance Program, physicians and physical therapists work with collegiate and professional athletes to prepare for their upcoming seasons by taking their physical skills to the next level and maximizing their performance. Athletes making the transition from college to the professional teams utilize the facilities and build knowledge to gain an edge entering their first training camp or spring training, in hopes of making an immediate impact for the team. Veteran athletes will utilize the facility during the off-season for training and injury prevention in hopes of extending their careers. This project is currently under construction.
